You know you have a “monkey mind.”
You just never learned how to turn it off.

The reason you can’t turn off your mind is because stillness is a process.

As a designer, I spent 25 years translating innovative ideas, and valuable experiences, into forms that could be enjoyed by millions of people around the world.

Now I've done the same for the inner stillness that is available to all of us through meditation.

I've practiced meditation and breathwork for over 20 years—with Tibetan Buddhist monks in the Himalayas, and even with the Dalai Llama himself—and I've designed some of the most popular products in the world.

Take a Dip in The Lake is the synthesis of all of it.

And beyond that, it's a carefully designed process that—over the course of 1 hour—will lead you into a state of deep inner peace.

* Take a Dip in The Lake is not recommended for individuals with a history of serious mental illness, medical conditions that could be affected by breathwork, or those who are pregnant. Please consult with a licensed healthcare provider before participating.

Meditation has the potential to be one of the most valuable experiences life has to offer.

But many who turn to it quickly turn away, when instead of what we expected to get out of it—silence—we encounter overwhelming noise.

The noise of our endlessly chattering mind.

The thing that keeps most people from enjoying the benefits that meditation has to offer is understanding that silence is a process.

That's because most of us have been conditioned to live lives dominated by overworking and overthinking.

Take a Dip in The Lake is a guided 1-hour experience that uses breathing techniques (known as breathwork) to lead you into altered states of consciousness*, and ultimately arrive at a deeply meditative state that through practice you can learn to tap into and harness daily.

The state that this experience will help guide you towards, which I call "The Lake," is one of deep clear presence. You will feel connected to your emotions, and understand yourself in ways that you may not have previously.

You may also see new opportunities that you didn't previously realize were right in front of you—in both your personal and professional life.

The Midlife Mystic

The Midlife Mystic is the alter-ego of a lifelong spiritual seeker who—after 25 years of zig-zagging his way through the creative world—found himself leading product development and design for some of the world's biggest brands.

But behind the exciting façade of success gained through helping companies succeed, was a seeker, a dreamer, and an artist that still had songs to sing and stories to tell.

At the pinnacle, he walked away.

He decided to no longer do and instead become a vehicle for the universe to create and express itself through him

He spent time in nature remembering.

And he remembered that he was The Midlife Mystic—a guide to those looking for reinvention in the middle passage of life.

Humanity has gotten lost in The River.

The Midlife Mystic is here to help foster a return to The Lake.
